European car insurance cover
Planning to take your car abroad? Both BACB's Car Insurance and BACB Premier Cover Car Insurance include European cover as standard.
You can benefit from the same level of insurance as you would in the UK at no extra cost. Depending on the level you choose this could include repairs, personal belongings and personal accident cover.

Before you go
To help ensure your cover is valid, it’s important that you let us know the dates that you’ll be away before you set off.
Documents to pack
We recommend you take your Certificate of Insurance, your vehicle registration document (V5C) and both parts of your driver’s licence with you when driving in Europe. You should take the original documents, not copies.
Combined UK & EU breakdown cover
If you’re travelling in Europe you may also want to look at European breakdown cover in case you have any problems on the road.
BACB's combined UK and EU breakdown cover (provided by Green Flag) includes all the features of UK breakdown cover as well as specific EU protection. It can be added to your insurance policy for an additional cost at any time.
